Ronnie Edward Jessee of Hendersonville, Tenn., passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022 at Alive Hospice with his daughters by his side. He was born on February 22, 1942 to Thomas C. and Fannie M. Jessee in Elizabethton, Tenn.
Ronnie graduated from Elizabethton High School in 1961.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Wayne, Thomas J. and Harvey A. Jessee.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bass Jessee of Hendersonville, Tenn.; daughters, Rhonda (Troy) Hood of Columbia, Tenn., and Christina Jessee (Johnny) of Lebanon, Tenn.; stepson, Mark Bass of Hendersonville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Brandon Russell of Columbia, Tenn., and Price Jessee of Lebanon, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Casey and Bella Russell of Columbia, Tenn.; sisters, Geraldine Simerly of Johnson City, Tenn., and Patrica Hicks of Sharpsburg, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Irene Jessee and Darlene Jessee of Bluff City, Tenn.; the mother of his children, Jane M. Jessee of Smyrna, Tenn.; and his beloved fur baby Precious. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, March 25, at Happy Valley Memorial Park in Elizabethton, Tenn.
