Ruby Dale Lewis, age 88, of Chuckey died early Sunday, July 24, 2016 at her home. She was a former member of the Albright UM Church. She was a great mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.Survivors include her son: Dallas Wayne Lewis; granddaughters: Jennifer Griffin, Rhonda Malone, Cindy Lewis, and Taylor Lewis; grandsons: Andrew Lewis, Will Buckner; three great grandchildren: Alexis Griffin, Trinity Olson, and Paige Lewis; several nieces and nephews; special nieces: Donita Lunghofer and Brenda; special friends: Glen and Patsy Moore.Preceded in death by her husband: William Doughton Lewis; son: William F. “Billy” Lewis; parents: John David and Phronie Ethel Harrison Wright; three sisters: Leo Mitchell,Lola Harmon, and Rebal Hancock; five brothers: Ford Wright, Luther Wright, Junior Wright, Earnest Wright, and Herman Wright.Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis will be 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Fain will be officiating. Interment will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for graveside services.Pallbearers will include: George Bowers, Donald Harmon, Cody Thompson, Glen Moore, Michael Smith, and Andrew Lewis.The Lewis family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
