Virginia Lewis Booth, 81, Johnson City, passed away January 1, 2014, at NHC Healthcare, Johnson City.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late John H. Lewis and Nora Presley Lewis. She was a member of King Springs Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Booth; her son, Steve Booth; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Survivors include a son, David Booth, of Fort Worth, TX; two daughters, Robin Gillette, of Johnson City, and Vickie Torbett and husband, Warren, of Piney Flats; two granddaughters, Sarah Hattan and husband, Shaun, of Piney Flats, and Leann Cloud and husband, Landon, of Kingsport; two grandsons, Jason Adams, of Telford, and Keith Baines, of Alaska; three great granddaughters, Shelby Hatton, Jasmin Hatton and Madison Cloud; one great grandson, Shane Cloud; a sister, Alma Brown, of Limestone; a brother, George Lewis, of Johnson City; and a daughter in-law, Brenda Booth, of Johnson City.
A Graveside Service will be held at Happy Valley Memorial Park on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Richard Rudiesill officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to follow in procession are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral & Cremation Services, Johnson City at 9:30 AM Saturday.
