Wiley C. Oliver, 78, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday May 30, 2015 at his residence. A native of Sullivan County, he was a son of the late James H. & Maggie Huskey Oliver. Wiley was a retired Mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Wiley (Rusty) Oliver, One Brother: Lester Oliver and two Sisters: Rosa Lee Trible and Eula Mae Oliver.
Survivors include Two Daughters: Teresa Oliver McKinney and Lisa Oliver both of Butler. One Grandson: Rusty McKinney. Two Great Grandchildren: Savannah & Samantha McKinney. Three Sisters: Nancy Broyles, Elizabethton, Lola Sweeney and Pansy Brittonham both of Bristol, Virginia. One Brother: Earnest Oliver, Elizabethton. Several nieces & nephews. A very special friend: Juanita Trivette.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers, who are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:20 a.m. Friday, will be: Darrell Cunningham, Ernest Lee Oliver, Oscar Oliver, Dalton Woods, Galvin Woods, Rick Trivette, Joel Wayne Oliver and Brandon Parlier. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of a sister Nancy Broyles.
