William Edmond “Eddie” Carr, 71, Kingsport, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 in the Holston Manor Nursing Home, Kingsport. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Edmond & Venie Hardin Carr. He had lived in Kingsport for a number of years. Eddie did Janitorial Work most of his life. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: James Carr.
Survivors include a sister: Lydia Stanley and husband J.D., Elizabethton. Several nieces & nephews. His special friends: Ruth Britt and Douglas Campbell. His little furry companion, Sandy.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
