William Frank Pilkton, Sr., 78, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness. A native of Butler, he was a son of the late Grayson & Lettie Jane Luther Pilkton. He was owner of Pilkton Trucking for several years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara McQueen Pilkton who died in 2003.
Survivors include his children: William Frank Pilkton, Jr. and Karen Renee Pilkton both of the home. One Brother: Dean Pilkton & wife Carolyn, Elizabethton. Three Sisters: Ruth Walsh & husband Bert, Piney Flats, Dorothy Authenreith and Mildred Spetrino both of Barberton, Ohio. Several nieces & nephews.
There will be a Service at the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m. Friday with Mr. Woody Ornduff officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
