Ms. Wilma Lovelace Colbaugh, 74, Elizabethton, passed from this life to her Heavenly Home On Monday, September 7, 2020 at Signature Health, Greeneville to be with the Lord and her beloved son, Michael forevermore. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Harold & Pauline Pierce Lovelace. She was a graduate of Hampton High School. In addition to her parents and son she was preceded in death by her sisters: Charlene Harmon and Doris Colbaugh, her brothers: Gale & Charlie Lovelace. Also Powell Colbaugh, Michael’s father.

Wilma was a member of Beck Mountain Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class. She and Michael cherished each one of those ladies very much. She was a very loving and devoted Mother, daughter, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. She was employed at the Sandwich Shop and Jiffy Dry Cleaners for a number of years.

Wilma leaves behind here beloved brothers, Terry (Ruth) Lovelace and Randy Lovelace, her sister: Paula Berry and sister-in-law: Emily Lovelace and brother-in-law: Lester Colbaugh. Also three special nephews whom she cared for as her own, Jerome Harmon, Jeff (Teresa) Harmon and Joey (Michelle) Harmon. Many more nieces and nephews also survive. A special “Thank You” to all her neighbors and to Nancy and the employees at Wayne & Nancy’s Family Restaurant for their kindness to Wilma throughout the years.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Ronnie Campbell officiating. Burial will follow the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.
