Georgia Trusler Estep, 78, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 1, 2012, in the Johnson City Medical Center.

A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Large Trusler. Mrs. Estep was a homemaker. She was a member of the Roan Street Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Alfred Estep, July 11, 2003; by two sons: Rickey Lynn Estep and Jerry Lee Estep; and seven brothers & sisters.

Survivors include a son & daughter-in-law: Alfred S. & Dana Estep, Woodstock, Georgia; Three grandchildren: Taylor Estep, Mill Estep and Sam Estep; Four Sisters: Louise Woodside, Walterboro, South Carolina, Shelby Harriett, Wilmington, North Carolina, Viola Perry and Bernice Whitlock, both of Elizabethton; One Brother: Glen Trusler, Burgaw, North Carolina; Several Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2012, in the Roan Street Church of God with Pastor Kenneth Bewley officiating.

Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the church at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, will be: Lowell Shell, Wayne Shell, Randy Shell, Marvin Webb, Steve Lewis, Homer Sims, Leslie Brock and Mike Brock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Her Church Family and friends and neighbors of the Siam Community.

To those who prefer, Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Estep to the Roan Street Church of God, 105 West E Street, Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The body will be moved to the church one hour prior to the service.
