You cannot see beyond this life But this you know … I loved you so Never doubt that I am with you still! For love does not die with the body And nothing in Heaven or on earth Can keep apart those who love. Mrs. Betty Irene Williams, 77, 814 Canterbury Road, Johnson City, peacefully passed away at her home with a smile on her face Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Burley John and Molly Love Witten Blair. Betty was a member of the Johnson City Community for over 57 years. She was a native of Paintsville, KY, and later moved to Marion, Ohio, where she met Donald Eugene Williams. They were married at Sinking Creek Baptist Church. As a young girl Betty knew there was a calling on her life from the Lord. She and Don pastored The Tabernacle of The Living God for 25 years. She dedicated her time and love in helping with the food and clothing pantries. Betty sang and played keyboard and guitar. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and listen without judgment. Betty cared for all people and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She never lost her faith, all the way to the end. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and loved ones.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Burley Blair and Johnny Wayne Blair. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Donald Eugene Williams; five children, Clarence Steven Aldrich, Jeffrey Lee Aldrich, Debra Faye Aldrich/Yourgulez, Eric Timothy Williams and Priscilla Jean Williams; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
