Billy Preas Depew, Jr., 52, Fort Myers, Florida passed away Thursday October 6, 2011 as the results of a Motorcycle accident.

A native of Pensacola, Florida he was a son of the late Billy Preas Depew, Sr and Joyce Miller Depew. He was a graduate of Cumberland County High School, Crossville, Tennessee and attended East Tennessee State University. Billy was in the Real Estate business and was owner of Best Buy Properties of Fort Myers. He loved to read, ride his motorcycle, loved the water and play basketball. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include Two Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Roger & Joan Depew, Cookeville, Tenn. and Michael J. & Melody Depew, Celina, Tennessee. A sister & brother-in-law: Pamela & Eddie Perkins, Johnson City. His special friend: Brenda Feeley. One Uncle: John Depew, Johnson City. One Aunt: Iva “June” Davis-Fogle, Fort Myers, Fla.. His Nieces & Nephews; Chris Depew and wife Dana, Adam Depew, Josh Depew and Heather Kreischer and husband Mike. His Aunts: Sharon Depew, Ann Depew, Virginia Depew, Mary J. Depew, Georgia Miller, Betty Miller, many cousins, and great nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy English officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Gail English.

Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday will be: David Depew, Kevin Miller, Kent Miller, Bill Honer, Adam Depew, Harry Fogle, Stanley Miller and Harry Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chris Depew, Eddie Perkins, Josh Depew, Gary Sanders, Michael Banson, Don Baskett, Richard Baskettand other friends in Florida.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of his sister: Pamela Perkins, Johnson City.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to go to the cemetery.
