Carol Ann Larkin Robinson, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Virginia Mauk Larkin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry W. Robinson, on June 19, 2008; and a daughter, Pam Oatman Curran. Mrs. Robinson was a native of Greene County, Tennessee, but had lived in Carter County since 1950. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include a brother, Jim Larkin and wife, Linda; one nephew, John Larkin and wife, Jill, Knoxville, TN; one niece, Susan Brown and husband, Mike, Knoxville, TN; great nieces and nephews, Lindsey Brown, Laura Brown, Savannah Larkin and Corey Larkin, all of Knoxville, TN, and Caleb Pleasant, Rhode Island; cousin, Bill Larkin and wife, Janie, Mosheim, TN. Several other cousins also survive. A special heartfelt thank you to Renee and Steve McNeal and Rick and Kay Church for their friendship and care over the past three years; also, Ryleigh McNeal, whom Carol Ann loved as a granddaughter. The graveside service for Mrs. Robinson will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home anytime before 11:00 AM on Friday or at the residence at any other times. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve McNeal and Rick Church. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 11:45 AM on Friday.
