Mr. Charles Curtis “Mr. B” Branch, 66, Johnson City, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, at Appalachian Christian Village surrounded by his loving family.

A native of Jonesborough, he was the son of the late Roy Jerome and Anna Belle Keeling Branch. He was a member of University Parkway Baptist Church. Mr. B’s love for children led him to serve as a volunteer at Cherokee Elementary School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Mitchell Branch and Calvin Grant Branch.

He leaves behind his best friend and wife of 48 years, Doris Tester Branch; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly E. and Christopher Stansell and Angela and Roger Galloway; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Allen and Tamara Branch; a sister, Teresa Jacobs, Blountville, and a brother, Kenneth Branch, Johnson City; a granddaughter, “His Princess” Macayla Hope Wiseman; grandsons, Justin Brett Wiseman, Brandon Caleb Wiseman, Aaron James Stansell, Benjamin Charles Stansell, Zachery Edwin Stansell, Joshua Curtis Branch and his wife, Misty, and Matthew Thomas Branch, granddaughter, Ashley Brooke Galloway; great grandchildren, Jada Anne-Marie Branch and Malachi Curtis Branch; and special relatives, Jason Brett and Stacy Wiseman and Ginger and Hobert Wilson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Charles Curtis “Mr. B” Branch will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday, March 25, 2012, in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Reverend Christopher Stansell and Dr. Dennis Deese officiating.

Graveside and Committal service will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jason Wiseman, Justin Wiseman, Aaron Stansell, Roger Galloway, Joshua Branch and Matthew Branch. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Hoover, nurses: Ashely Wright, Cat Thompson Ramona Thompson, Tabby Luster, Heather Hudson, Vicki Bowen, Tracy Keenan, and CNA’s: T.J., Dustin and Heather.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Sunday from 1:00 PM till the service hour and at other times at Appalachian Christian Village Lower Level.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Johnson City Internal Medicine, Melissa Leek, Dr. Hoover and all the staff at Appalachian Christian Village for the care and love shown to Mr. Branch and his entire family.
