Cletta Younce, 73, of Elizabethton, TN, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital.
She was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late John B. and Winnie Keith Ornduff.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Parks, Elizabeth Coffey, Anna Kimbrell, and Kristine Wright; and two brothers, Elmer Ornduff and Johnny Ornduff.
Mrs. Younce was a health tech supervisor at the James H. Quillen VA Hospital for twenty four years. She was a member of Hunter First Baptist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Younce, Woodford, VA; and Gene Younce, Elizabethton; one granddaughter, Lori Younce, Carter County, TN; five sisters, Reba Ross and husband Don, Olga Rice, Erma Nidiffer, and Sharon Holmes and husband David, all of Elizabethton; and Mariea Ward of Johnson City; two brothers, Rufus O. Ornduff, SC; and Gilbert Ornduff and wife Ann, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive as well as two special friends, Donna Royston, Chicago; and Shirley Fender, Unicoi, TN.
The graveside service for Mrs. Younce will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Happy Valley Memorial Park, with Rev. David Nunley officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 PM on Sunday.
