Deborah Kay Crumley Hale, 42, of 408 S. Main Street, Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
She was the daughter of Kaffee Hinkle Crumley Hemp of Madison, Tenn., and the late Denny Crumley. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by Lillian Crumley.
Mrs. Hale was a loving person, wife and mother. She was saved, baptized and living for the Lord. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Hale is survived by her husband, Richard Todd Hale, Elizabethton; a daughter, Cierra B. Hale, Elizabethton; and two sisters, Michelle Wilt, Madison, Tenn., and Carol Shingleton, Elizabethton, as well as numerous special friends and loved ones. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The graveside service for Mrs. Hale was conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 10, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Kenneth Jordan officiating. Honorary pallbearers were members of Fairview Baptist Church.
