Surrounded by family, Edwin Lee “Eddie” Greene, Jr., 61, died at the Johnson City Medical Center on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, following an illness. Formerly from Carter County, he was living in Johnson City at the time of his death. Eddie was born on December 30, 1951, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to Edwin Lee and Edna Faye Thornton Greene Sr. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin L. Greene Sr. He has four surviving siblings (from oldest to youngest): Steven Greene, Geraldine Baker, Sandra Harbison and Ronda Sager.
