Mr. Frank W. Perry, age 78, of Johnson City, passed away, Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Perry was a native of Carter County. He was the son of the late Earl Perry and Myrtle Hodge Perry. In addition to his parents, three brothers, Charles Perry, Joe Perry and Howard Perry, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Perry was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Snap-On Tools after fifteen years of service.
Survivors include: his loving wife of forty-seven years, Audrey Rollins Perry, of the home; one brother, Cameron Perry and his wife, Jane, of Johnson City; two sisters, Shirley Fair and her husband, Mack, of Johnson City, and Linda Davidson and her husband, Sid, of Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews.
The Perry family would like to express there thanks to the physicians, caregivers and hospice staff who so lovingly cared for Frank.
The funeral service for Mr. Frank W. Perry will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, May 25, 2012, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Joseph Manis will officiate.
The graveside committal service will follow in the Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jess Fair, Tom Perry, Evan Perry, Creighton Conley, Sid Davidson and Tony Irick. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Tilson, Mike King, Kenneth King, Chris Henderson and Johnny Kerr.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM Friday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 1808 West End Avenue, Suite 514, Nashville, Tn. 37203.
