Glen Cate Hutsell, 93, 105 Brookdale Drive, Johnson City, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.
Mr. Hutsell was a native of Athens, TN, and lived in a number of states before returning to Johnson City.
He served his country honorably six years in the US Navy, having served in WWII.
Mr. Hutsell was a member of IBEW 934, Kingsport, TN, and a retired employee of T.V.A.
He was a member of Tacoma Church of God.
Mr. Hutsell is survived by his wife, Helen, Johnson City; two brothers, Carl Hutsell, Jack and wife, Betty, of Athens, TN; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Happy Valley Memorial Park, Mausoleum of Peace, Elizabethton, TN. Friends are asked to meet at the Mausoleum Chapel. Reverend Richard Ballard and Reverend Bill Konstantopoulos will officiate.
