Harry H. “Bud” Perry, 72, Elizabethton passed away Sunday November 7, 2010 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Hal and Estella Biggs Perry. His work was his hobby having worked for years in his paint and body shop. Bud was a member of the New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers: A.J., Wade, Danny and Edwin Perry.

Survivors include his wife of fifty two years: Katheryn “Subie” Perry. Two Sons: Dennis Perry and wife Debbie of Elizabethton and Chuck Perry, Johnson City. A Grandson: Dustin Perry and wife Ashley, Elizabethton. A Brother: Jerry Perry of Indiana. Six Sisters: Teresa Perry of Wisconsin, Maxine Rust, Carolyn Dozier, Sue Pirtle, and Emma Jean Cox all of Indiana and Fredda Kyte of Georgia. Several Nieces & Nephews. Two Sisters-In-Law: Louise Shields and Roberta Carter and husband Bill. Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. ray Colbaugh and Rev. Rick Pirtle officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 12 Noon Wednesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by the New Liberty Quartet.

Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday will be: Lynn Peters, Wayne Sams, Tony Bowers, Jerry Bowers, Johnny Holder, David Shields, Randy Shields, Tim Shields, Chris Shields, Buddy Collins, Mike Matheson, David Pirtle and Rick Pirtle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Peters, Ray Lewis, Randy & Diane Burkhart, Lynn Kyker and his church family. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Graybeal Orthopedic Staff, Dr.Defluter, Dr. Justin Digby, Dr. Famoyin and the staff of the 4500 wing, Johnson City Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence.
