Helen C. Irick, 91, of Elizabethton, died Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Pine Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas T. and Mary A. Wagner Irick.
Ms. Irick was a teacher with the Carter County School System and later retired from Tri-State Container. She was a member of West Side Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Irick, and a sister, Ruth Daly.
Survivors include a sister, Hazel Clemons and husband Roger, Elizabethton, and several nieces and nephews.
It was Ms. Irick’s request that no services were conducted and private interment was held at Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Pine Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care to Ms. Irick.
