Sue Oliver Wagner, 71, Elizabethton passed away Sunday January 2, 2011 in the Johnson City Medical Center.

A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Kilby and Louise Trivette Oliver. Sue was a 1957 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Heartland Fellowship. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gary L. Wagner, August 31, 1992.

Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law: Michelle & Mike Wiggins, Elizabethton. Two Sons & daughters-in-law: Greg (Mater) & Charlene Wagner and Rick & Becky Wagner all of Elizabethton. Her Grandchildren; Daniel Wagner, Christopher Wagner and wife Amanda, Rachel Wagner, Michael Wagner & Rikki Wagner. A Great Grandson: Kaiden Wagner. A sister & brother-in-law: Joyce & Glenn Church, Elizabethton. A sister-in-law: Lori Reed. Her Nephews: David & Stephen Church and John Paul Reed. A special friend: Connie Isaacs.

A Service to celebrate the life of Sue Wagner will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Rick Wagner and Pastor Marvin Slagle officiating.

Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Stephen Church and Julie Cardwell, Organist. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday will be: Daniel Wagner, Chris Wagner, David Church, Stephen Church, Roger Childers and Johnny Trivett. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Glenn Church, Dennis Isaacs, Mike Wiggins, David Kelley, Gerald Jenkins and Steve Honeycutt. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of a son Rick Wagner, Elizabethton. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
