Jeffery Carroll Buck, 39, Johnson City, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012, at his residence.
He was a Carter County native. Jeff was a 1990 Graduate of Happy Valley High School. He was employed as a Construction Worker. He served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his daughter: Kiana A. Buck, Elizabethton; His father: Gary & wife, Martha Buck, Elizabethton; His mother & step-father: Ruthie & Edward Terry, Johnson City; A Brother: Brian Buck and his wife, Tracie, Mooresville, North Carolina; His Sister: Tina Cunningham and her husband, Opie, Jonesborough; His Maternal Grandparents: Rev. Kenneth & Pearl Jones, Johnson City; His girl friend, Krystal Roark and her daughter and mother, Stella Morton and Melba Roark; A niece: Ashley Buck; a nephew: Riley Buck; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, including two special Uncles: Tony Jones and Tim Buck.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with his grandfather and special friend, Rev. Kenneth Jones and Rev. Charlie Biggs, officiating.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012, in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Greg Ruston and Loren Harris. Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, will be: Tony Jones, Mark Jones, Jeff Townsend, Matt Simerly, Chris Miller and Chad Miller, Phil Hauser and Opie W. Cunningham II. Honorary Pallbearers will be his many friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
