Ms. Jessica Sara Murray Arnold, 34, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at her home.
She was the daughter of Frank and Rebecca Chandler Murray of Elizabethton and was born in Carter County. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Wanda Murray, in April 2012.
Ms. Arnold was a 1996 graduate of Unaka High School and a member of Cedar Grove Apostolic Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four children, K.J. Arnold Jr., Madison Elizabeth Davis, Mason Wade Davis and Andrew “Beau†Davis, all of Elizabethton; a brother, Master Sgt. Alex Wade Murray and his wife, Beth, Crestview, Fla.; a niece, Olivia Jean Murray, Crestview, Fla.; two aunts, Barbara Heizer and her husband, Craig, Stuarts Draft, Va., and Rachel Jones, Lexington, Ky.; and an uncle, Tom Murray and his wife, Connie, Berea, Ky. A special friend, Ivan Sluder, Butler, also survives.
The funeral service for Ms. Arnold will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. David Siebenaler, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service, or at the home of her parents at other times. Interment will follow the funeral service at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
