Katrina Ann Bradley, 6, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.
She was the daughter of Ian and Leslee Porter Bradley and was born in Washington County, Tennessee, but had lived in Carter County all of her life.
Katrina attended Southside Christian Church and she had completed kindergarten at West Side Elementary School. Katrina loved being around people.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Porter Bradley, of the home; her maternal grandparents, Gary and Roberta Brean Porter, Wooster, OH; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Ann Parlier Bradley, Elizabethton; paternal great-grandmother, Ollie Bradley, Elizabethton; three uncles, Matt Porter and his wife, Denise, Dayton, OH, Eric Porter and his wife, Aggie, Grayson, KY, Michael Bradley and his wife, Stacy, Elizabethton. Her cousins, Josh, Doug, Ben, Logan, Lydia and Scott also survive.
The Celebration of Life Service for Katrina will be conducted on Friday, June 10, 2011, at 7:00 PM at Tetrick Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace, Elizabethton, with Mr. Michael Koruschak, minister, officiating. Music will be under the direction of Tina Byrd and Charles Dugger.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday prior to the service and at the home of her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Ann Bradley, 1863 Woodhaven Drive, Elizabethton, at other times.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Matt Porter, Eric Porter, Michael Bradley, Sam Bowers, Steve Foltz and Kyle Taft. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home 1:15 PM Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
