Mrs. Kerroll (Pinkie) S. Thompson, age 61, of Elizabethton, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday June 25, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer at Holston Valley Medical Center Kingsport, TN.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine Taylor and Searles V. Earnest; daughter, Antia Earnest; sister, Jackie Horton; and brother, Tony Earnest.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Joseph (Leo) Thompson; son, Shawn Earnest; grandson, Christopher, and granddaughter, Mya, Elizabethton, TN; sister, Toyeka (Brian) Wallace, of Elizabethton, TN; brothers: Robert (Sylvia) Taylor and William (Zena) Earnest, Johnson City, TN; aunt, Doris Shields, Columbus, Ohio; uncles: Walter (Shirley) Earnest, Limestone, TN, and Charles Taylor, Elizabethton TN. beloved nephews, Brian and Joshua Wallace. Also left to mourn her passing are many relatives and friends.
Her music ministry will be missed immensely in her Elizabethton community and the surrounding area.

The celebration of life service for Mrs. Thompson will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Phillippi Baptist Church, 200 East M. Street, Elizabethton, Tennessee.
Burial following the service in the Happy Valley Memorial Park, Elizabethton TN.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
