Lucille N. Triplett

Lucille Triplett passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at The Heart Remembers of the Carriage House Inn in Shelbyville, Tenn.

A native of Elizabethton, Mrs. Triplett moved to Shelbyville from Edgewater, Fla., following the death of her husband, Bynum Triplett. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother, Mack Nichols, of Shelbyville, Tenn.; nieces, Nancy Alexander of Knoxville, Tenn., Barbara Shields and Peggy Lingerfelt of Elizabethton, and Sharon McClary of Cosby, Tenn.; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service for Mrs. Triplett will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, at Happy Valley Memorial Park in Elizabethton, Tenn., with Travis Biller of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. Friends that wish to call may do so prior to the graveside service at the home of Peggy Lingerfelt, 680 Fox Meadow Road, Elizabethton.
