Margaret E. Freeman, 77, of Johnson City, died Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native of New York, daughter of the late Arthur J. and Agnes Lose Bush. Margaret was a member of Tacoma Church of God. She was a retired employee of Snap on Tools. In addition to her parents a sister, Betty Granai and her former husband, Herbert Ray Freeman, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Randy S. and Merri Beth Freeman of Jonesborough; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sandra A. and Otis Scalf, Linda Solomon, Betty J. and Mike Harville all of Johnson City; a brother and sister-in-law, Artie and Linda Bush of Long Island, NY; ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Happy Valley Memorial Park under the direction of Rev. Terry Jones. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Morris – Baker Funeral Home then leave in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.
