Margaret N. Nave, age 74, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Carter County to the late Ray E. and Ora Lee Timbs Nave. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Nave.
Mrs. Nave worked in the radiology department at Johnson City Medical Center and as a clerk at CVS Pharmacy and attended Siam Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Hoilman and husband Rev. Jim Hoilman of Chuckey, TN; two sons, Dan Nave and wife Debbie, and David Nave and wife Sharon all of Elizabethton; six grandchildren, Andrew Hoilman, Peter Hoilman, Ashlee Carmack, Rachel Barnes, Richard Nave and Shannon Kemp; one great granddaughter, Paige Barnes; and one brother, Gary Nave and wife Carol of Elizabethton, TN. Special friends Juanita Phillips, Tom and Earline Edwards, Flo Smith and Jessica Helton also survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Nave will be conducted at 7:00 pm Monday, April 29, 2013, in the Chapel of Peace, of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Jack Roddy officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 prior to the service Monday.
The graveside service and interment will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Richard Nave, Jason Nave, Scott Nave, David Nave, Eugene Moore, and Hershel Bowers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Hoilman, Bill Anderson, and David Bennett. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:15 am Tuesday, to go in procession to the cemetery.
