Mary Lucille Stines, 77, of Elizabethton, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Danie and Polly Sheets Johnson and was born in Johnson County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Stines, a sister and a brother. Mrs. Stines was a member of God’s House Full Gospel Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Tommy Stines, Elizabethton, Glen Bunton, Johnson City and Carl Bunton, FL; three daughters, Bonnie Bunton, Johnson City; Helen Bunton, KY; Sandra Guy, Piney Flats; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Four sisters also survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Stines will be conducted on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Davis officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from noon – 2:00 PM Thursday prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
