Miss Kathy Webb, 56, 200 Ridgecrest Drive, Elizabethton, passed on to receive her spiritual body on Monday, October 17, 2011, at her home.
Kathy was born in Elizabethton to Jeanetta B. Webb, of the home, and the late Willie E. Webb.
Miss Webb attended First Baptist Church of Elizabethton. She had many special friends in her medical community and also many other friends locally who were like family to her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Kay W. and Christopher Garland, Elizabethton; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Leslie Webb, Johnson City; two nephews, Sumner A. Garland, Elizabethton, and Travis E. Webb. Two extra special friends, Venita Dial and Dorothy Carroll, both of Knoxville, also survive.
The Committal and Entombment service for Miss Webb will be conducted on Thursday, October 20, 2011, at 2:30 PM at the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park. Mr. Kenny Webb will eulogize his sister.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Garland, Sumner Garland, Harvey Howell, Ken West and Mark Honeycutt.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, and at the home at other times.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to her special physicians, John Dengler, M.D., and Diane Draper, D.O., for their care. Kathy’s CNAs, who became like loving family, are also greatly appreciated.
