Norma F. May, 93, of Elizabethton, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2010, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Margaret Ellis Frazier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roby DeWitt May Jr., on January 20, 1974, and a son, Thomas May. Mrs. May was a homemaker who loved to read and collect antiques. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elizabethton.
Mrs. May is survived by a son, Richard T. May, and two grandchildren, Kimberly Norma May and Shane Lamar May, all of Elizabethton.
A graveside service for Mrs. May will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Lauri Jo Cranford officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be her friends at First United Methodist Church, the staff at Ivy Hall Nursing Home and her other friends and relatives.
