Pansy Lee Lowe, 76, Hampton, loving mother & grandmother passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 in the Hermitage Health Center.

A native of Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Millie and Hazel Hicks Adams. She had lived most of her life in Carter County. She was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. Mrs. Lowe loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking breakfast and going to church. She was a member of the Hampton Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands: Robert Lee Hughes and Clyde E. Lowe, a brother: Billy Joe Adams and a sister: Doris Jean Adams.

Survivors include Three Sons: Robert Hughes and wife Jennifer, Elizabethton, Kelvin Hughes Hampton and special friend Donna Jones, Bristol and Chris Hughes and wife Beverly, Hampton.10 Grandchildren: Nathanael, Mibby, Matthew, Hannah, Bailey, Heather, Hunter, Aaron, Cotey and Megan. One Great Granddaughter: Josie. Her Brother: Tommy Adams, Laurel Bloomery. A Sister: Carolyn Tarr, Mountain City. A very special friend: Donnie Carden, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. David Siebenaler, Minister officiating.

Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Harold Presnell and Kimberlee Adams. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday will be: Charlie Adams, Harold Presnell, Phil Shull, Arnold Hughes, Danny Davis, Terry Banner, David Ellis, Nathanael Hughes, Bailey Hughes and Hunter Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Danny Birchfield, Betty Stevens, Cissy Campbell, Irene Paige, Angel Miller, Janie Lewis, Tammie Adams and Kimberlee Adams.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Hermitage Health Center.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at her residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery.
