Phyllis Ann “Patti” Nave, 68, Elizabethton went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Fred D. and Florence Holly Fletcher.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marshall Tony Nave, one sister: Judy Gail Fletcher and a brother: Larry Joe Fletcher.
She was a member of Hunter Memorial Baptist Church.
She loved her family and enjoyed going to the nursing home, doing private setting for the elderly. Patti had a big heart for the elderly. She retired early from Wal Mart on August 18, 2006.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Debbie Grindstaff, Watauga; two grandsons, Jason Keith Grindstaff and his wife Jessica and Adam Nicholas Grindstaff (who she loved dearly); a special sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Miles McCloud, Elizabethton; two aunts, Lois Scalf and Dora Holly; her special caregiver, her sister Joan.

Graveside Service for family and friends will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Bob Shupe officiating.

Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be neighbors on Sunrise Drive.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Penny Bowling, Corrine Phillips, Jeanette Lyons, Geneva Garrison, Shirley Waters, Sherry Hamm, Carolyn Minton who were there to help take care of her during her illness.

Also a special “Thank You” to the Nurses and Staff at the Christian Care in Johnson City and the Nurses at Johnson City Medical Center on 5th and 6th floor and ICU, who took so much extra care of her; her doctors: Dr. Anthony Palazzo and Dr. Carlos Floresguerra.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:50 p.m. Monday to go the cemetery. Friends may also call at the residence of her sister & brother-In-law: Joan & Miles McCloud, Elizabethton. Condolences may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
