Roland F. Savage, 75, 1825 Glen Echo Road, Johnson City, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, in the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA, and had lived in Washington County since 2002. Mr. Savage was a son of the late Edward and Mildred Smith Savage. He was a Banker, having worked many years with the Equitable Trust Bank before retirement. Mr. Savage was a member of the Catholic faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorri Savage; and a brother, Edward Savage. Survivors include a daughter, Beth S. Fleming and husband, Ronald, of Johnson City; a son, Mark M. Savage and wife, Annette, of Johnson City; a sister, Roseanne Tennerelli and husband, Bill, of New Jersey; two brothers, Rich Savage and wife, Mary, of Texas and Dave Savage and wife, Janice, of New Jersey; five grandchildren, Jessica and Lindsey Savage, Bradley Fleming, Katie Martin and husband, Myron, and Erin Sparks and husband, Matt; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in the Happy Valley Memorial Park, Elizabethton, with the Boone Dam VFW Honor Guard Detail providing Military Rites. Everyone attending this service is asked to meet at the cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Condolences may be made online at www.wadugger.com.
