Rosa Malone Cross, 63, of Elizabethton passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in the Life Care Center of Elizabethton.
Mrs. Cross was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late George Taylor and Mary Frances Foster Crumley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Lee Cross.
Mrs. Cross was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Mark Simmons of Elizabethton; two granddaughters, Alison and Christine Simmons, both of Elizabethton; one great-grandchild, Hayden Simpson; and a sister, Joy Malone of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Cross will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with the Rev. Tony Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Wednesday.
The graveside service will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
