Ruble Lynn Nave Campbell, 85, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013, in the Ivy Hall Nursing Home. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late James Orville and Dorcas Byers Nave. She was a 1946 graduate of Elizabethton High School. Mrs. Campbell was a retired employee of Levi-Strauss. She was a member of the Hunter First Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Spencer Campbell, April 29, 1973; by a daughter: Theresa Lewis; two brothers: Sidney Nave and Thurman Nave; and Two Sisters: Azilee Buckles and Shirley Nave. Survivors include Two Daughters: Nancy Oliver, Elizabethton. and Marsha L. Graham, Bristol, Tenn.; A Son: William S. Campbell, Morristown, Tenn.; Seven Grandsons: Christopher Lewis, Daniel Graham, Joshua Graham, Seth Graham, Lucas Oliver, William S. Campbell and Barry Campbell; A Granddaughter: Rachel Kiersnowski; A Great Grandson: Camden Campbell; Two Brothers: David Nave, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and Kenneth Nave, Elizabethton; Two Sisters: Arbee Johnson, Nashville, Tenn., and Norma Miller, Kernersville, North Carolina; Several Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Estill Williams and Rev. Stephen Nauman Sr. officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, will be her grandsons: Christopher Lewis, Daniel Graham, Joshua Graham, Seth Graham, Lucas Oliver, William S. Campbell and Barry Campbell. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Eva Heatherly, Jerry & Carol Williams, the Willing Workers Sunday School Class, Hunter First Baptist Church and the Staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
