Teresa Janella (Janie) Edens Campbell, 58, formerly of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at her residence in Gray, TN, following a brief illness.
She was the daughter of the late David Elmer Edens Sr. and Mary Alice Roberson Edens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Jeffery Frank Edens Sr., David Elmer Edens, Richard Lee Edens Sr. and Donald Randolph Edens.
Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia, magnets and candles.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Campbell, of the home; one son, Travis Campbell, Reston, VA; one daughter, Michelle Rish, Cheyenne, WY; seven grandchildren, Dakota Campbell, Ainsley Campbell, Caden Campbell, Randall Johnson, Mason Rish, Jacob Rish, Caitlyn Rish and Hannah Holt (honorary granddaughter); one sister, Arita Jean Holt, Woodford, VA; two brothers, Terry Lane Edens and Edward James (Jim Ed) Edens, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Campbell will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Josh Edens, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service or at the residence at anytime.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Derl Curry, officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday to go in procession.
