Timothy Eugene Oliver, 39, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday January 13, 2011, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
He was a Carter County native. He was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. He was a former employee of Harris-Tarkett and Snap-On-Tool.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents: Culbie & Novella Trivett; and his Paternal Grandparents: Martha Ruth Ferguson and James H. Oliver.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include a son: Zackary Logan Oliver; His fiancé and companion of 10 years, Sharron Miller; His Parents: Stanley “Butch†and Kathy Trivett Oliver; An Uncle: Ronnie Trivett and his wife, Patsy; His Aunts: Debbie Grindstaff and husband, Charles, Barbara Grindstaff and husband, Leslie, Mary Caldwell and husband, Matt, and Brenda Hunter; His Special “Niecesâ€: Ashley & Whitney McClure; His Special Friends: Jamie Jarrells, Tim Lyons, Bo Bo Lyons, Bobby Brockwell, Raymond Roope, Clyde Roope and Troy Cable.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2011, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Trivett officiating.
Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon Sunday until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
