Tina Sheree Estep Whitehead, 55, of Elizabethton, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at her residence. She was a native of Elizabethton and the daughter of Peggy N. Lingerfelt Palmer and the late Jack C. Estep. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Eddie Dean Palmer; husband, Gordon Wayne Whitehead; and brother, Charles Stewart Estep. Tina was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her two brothers, Billy Chad Floyd and wife Heather of Bristol, and Jay Estep of Elizabethton; two biological sons, Cody Palmer and Dylan Estep, both of Elizabethton; a niece, Ariana Floyd; and a nephew, Braedon Floyd. The graveside service for Mrs. Whitehead will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 31, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Alan King officiating. Active pallbearers will be Jay Estep, Dylan Estep, Chad Floyd, Cody Palmer, Johnny Palmer and Johnny Allen Mathis.
