Mr. Bill D. Booth, age 87, of Johnson City, passed away Tuesday September 18, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Booth was a native of Washington County. He was the son of the late Mack Booth and Beryl Blair Booth. In addition to his parents, one son, Steve Booth, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Booth was owner and operator of B & B Coins, he retired in 2011.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-two years, Virginia Lewis Booth, of the home; two daughters, Robin Booth Gillette, of Johnson City, and Vickie Booth Torbett and her husband, Warren, of Piney Flats; one son, David Booth, of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Betty Booth Senn, of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Keith Baines, Jason Adams, Sarah Hatton and LeAnne Cloud; four great grandchildren, Madison Cloud, Shelby Hatton, Shane Cloud and Jasmin Hatton; several nieces and nephews.

The graveside committal service for Mr. Bill D. Booth will be conducted at 3 PM Thursday, September 20, 2012, in the Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 2:15 PM Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Second Harvest Food Bank, 127 Dillon Court, Gray, Tn. 37615.
