William “Bill†Hull, 71, of Elizabethton, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was the son of the late George and Mary Crowley Hull and was born in Newport, R.I. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Hull, and a sister, Winifred Johnson.
Mr. Hull was a retired manufacturing engineer with Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Hill Hull, of the home; four children, Maryanne Hull of Connecticut, Robin Rankin of North Carolina, Michael Hull of Connecticut and Nicole Hull of Connecticut; a stepdaughter, Lana Montgomery, Elizabethton; several grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey Silvia, Newport, R.I., and Monica Hull Shea, Block Island, R.I.; and a brother, George Robert Hull, Newport, R.I.
A Prayer Service for Mr. Hull will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Dennis Kress and Pastor Greg Wagner officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Wagner Family. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service, and at the home at other times. A private inurnment will be conducted at Happy Valley Memorial Park at a later time.
